DC Concert-great anticipation!

I'm in great anticipation to come down from Jersey to DC to see you in concert. I have always wanted to see you in concert, and I finally have that opportunity. Of course it's going to be sort of a bitter sweet experience because this will be my first visit to DC since I losed my husband five years ago (that M-A-N was truly my heart, next to my relationship with God, he was my everything!! We would always take these kind of trips back in the day, coming down to Georgetowm (Blues Alley) to see our favorite artists. But time is a wonderful thing.... because noone could have told me five years ago that I would be at this point in my life traveling and the like...getting back to life and doing the things that we both once enjoyed and enjoying them with fond memories!

Hello Eric and Bash,
I have to say I am new to the EB fold. Even though I have always known of him and loved his songs that got radio play, I think I finally got to a point when I appreciated really "GOOD" music. I joke with my mom and say I dont know when it happened but now I am buying alot of Frankie Beverly and Maze and less Neyo.I am finally grown enough to appreciate the artistry involved. So now, I am really wanting people like Eric in my collection.
Anyway, Bash, I am sorry to hear about your love and at the same time I am proud to hear that you are ready for this trip. I am sure you are not coming down by yourself, but if you are or if you and your group are willing there are a group of us ladies meeting up before the show for food/drinks. I know it is weird for you to get an invite from a stranger, but you are more then welcome to join us. I have to warn you that we are Thickettes and are madly in love with Robin; however there are also some TrueEBs in the fold as well. So if you are interested just drop a line here letting me know.
